My name is Martin, I’m a commercial photographer specialising in Interior, Architectural and Branding Photography. I am originally from Poland but have been living in the UK since 2006.
I spent a few years in Northern Ireland doing mostly wedding and portrait photography before moving to London in 2012, where I had my second studio. I started booking destination weddings on the beautiful Greek island of Rhodes, and eventually moved there for 6 months to shoot mostly weddings, portraits and work with local magazines.
When I returned from Greece, I realized that London was too busy for me and I preferred the countryside. So, I moved to Torquay, English Riviera in 2016 and then ended up in Exeter after meeting my beautiful wife, where we currently live with our amazing daughter Natalia, cat Tommy, and dog Molly. We enjoy life in beautiful Devon.
Over the years, my photography niche has shifted from mostly wedding photography to commercial clients, as I love networking with other business owners. My photography business offers a variety of services, starting with Interior and Architectural photography and video, and extending to events, headshots, Airbnb’s, personal branding, and all other types of commercial photography.
I absolutely love my time behind the camera and the fact that every photoshoot is unique in its own way. I am also a member of a few networking groups like BNI and Your Partnership, which have given me many connections with other businesses. 1) How long have you been doing this?
I started my photography venture in 2006 after I had moved from Poland to the UK.
2) Where is your funny accent from?
I was born in Poland. Polish is my first language and someday I may learn English as well.
3) How long before the pictures will be ready?
It depends on the service but in most cases, pictures are ready within 24 to 72 hours.
4) Do I need to pay a deposit?
Again, that depends on the project. For a small project, I usually do not take any money upfront but for a bigger project, I might do.
5) What If I need to cancel the shoot?
You can cancel the shoot up to 24 hours prior. No charge and no strings attached. If you want to cancel within less than 24h period, I may suggest rescheduling or charging you a small fee.
6) What if I don’t like the pictures or videos?
I will do my best to make sure I provide the highest quality service and products, but if for some reason you don’t like it, I will give you the option to reshoot or get a refund. I want you to know that you are not risking any money by hiring me.
7) Do you have a studio?
Yes and no. I do have a small home studio that is designed for product photography only. I mostly shoot clients at their offices or nice locations like hotels, I have a list of hotels I cooperate with. If a studio is required I can hire one.
